Immediate reflections on today’s events at the Sandie Peggie tribunal. I’ve now been ‘in the room’ and have witnessed first hand the so-called clever people like doctors and lawyers inexplicably blind to their hypocritical double standards.
They will bend over backwards to accommodate a male, yet see no conflict in their abandonment of, and contempt for other women.
It has nothing to do with chromosomes, transphobia or any other smokescreen they try to deploy. It’s about a woman who only wanted the privacy she had every right and entitlement to. I’ll be back next week.
Women’s single sex spaces are a legal right. End of story.
Trans ideology means women “must agree to sacrifice every bit of their dignity to the end of flattering the hallucinatory identities of sad men”

🚳Farewell Patrick Harvie MSP - Scotland’s longest-serving performance artist.
21 years of moral preening dressed as politics.
He didn’t build consensus. He policed belief.
And when it came to gender ideology, he was the loudest in the room - and the last to leave it.
This week, the Taliban is tracking women leaving UN offices, following them home and threatening their fathers/husbands not to allow them to return to work.
Afghan women are risking their lives. The international community needs to stand up to the Taliban and support them.
SNP saves job of MSP who attacked ‘bigotry’ of Supreme Court.
Not only did she vote to save her own skin she couldn’t be bothered to turn up in person. Contemptuous. (Share token)

“Unless Ms Chapman resigns, we fear that the Equalities and Human Rights Committee will be unfit to oversee the development of human rights legislation in our Parliament.”
Bryndis Blackadder of Blackbird Docs with the full film from the rally on Saturday in Dundee.
In this one, Chapman says the SC decision is a disgrace & the thousands of women who donated to us should have spent the money funding abortion services.

Ten years and an unfathomable amount of money to confirm that the sky is actually still blue.
I hope we never, ever see a public policy debate succumb to such a poisonous mix of magical thinking, authoritarianism and cowardice ever again.
Management at Edinburgh University have allowed gender ideologues to corrupt the institution. Now those dangerous cranks face a reckoning. My @scotonsunday column:

Anita Anand should not have apologised. The national broadcaster should not be elevating an individual's subjective feelings over objective reality. Where does that approach end? Why should we trust the BBC on anything if it is willing to lie about something so fundamental.
