This is a huge day for @X.
My documentary, Cancer: A Food-Borne Illness, is finally here.
It is only on this platform that I am able to release a film that challenges big food conglomerates and mainstream health claims without fear of censorship.
Here is the story of how I, an 18 year old girl, spent 2 years relentlessly searching for the for the true cause of cancer.
Here's what I found:
It was a great honor to speak in a conference with so many of my heroes and a great discussion with
@DoctorTro, @BrianLenzkes, Robert Cywes MD and one of my all time heroes, Richard Bernstein MD https://t.co/tAZt5rhanx
Shout out to @DrPaulMason for putting on an amazing conference. I was honored to speak and to be on a Q&A with the giants: @ObesityResolved Rob Cywes, Dr. Bernstein, @paulmabry and @DoctorTro. Happy Father's Day all.
@tednaiman The study was done on rats given a 10 day run-in diet then the test diet for 21 days. This is the human equivalent of 2 years. Omega-6 is a much slower acting poison than that and there obviously was no mortality or long term health outcomes data there.
@HouseAgDems@HouseAgGOP#DietaryGuidelines (DGA) hasn’t been scoped to address treatment for 60% of Americans w/1 or more chronic, diet-related diseases. Urge @USDA@HHSgov: put a warning label on DGA to ensure that people w/these diseases know Guidelines do not apply to them.
It should be an offence to lump fat, salt and sugar together - ever. Two are utterly life vital - we die without them. One has no nutritional value and should not be called a food.
Big shout out to @AmDiabetesAssn expert panel for the Nutrition Therapy Consensus Report. Several of the team presented to a packed house at ADA meeting, and demonstrated how nutrition therapy can help people with #diabetes (or those at risk), like no other therapy.
Here it is. 'Normalising' blood tests, particularly liver function tests now having 'acceptable' ⬆️levels as the community get sicker from #carbs and #insulinresistance. Just like walking down the street and 'normal' weight is overweight/obese. #BigHealth@drjoesDIYhealth
Why does chronic #stress increase the risk of heart disease?
“The epigenetic effect of stress and aging was reflected in [reduced] DNA methylation of the gene FKBP5” https://t.co/XdXWi8IRYy
Let's see.. @cnnhealth published many stories this week, some of questionable impact. The one they did NOT report on was the 2-year results of a LARGE study showing over 50% reversal of T2D! Since over half of the adults in this country have DM or PreDM - seems relevant.
