Dear russia,

I am not Ukrainian, I see what you are doing there. I see the way you say their nation does not exist. I see the way you heap their women and children into piles of the dead, in which you then bury in the ground of unmarked graves.

I see the way your citizens around the world attack and kill Ukraines children from Germany to Egypt. You try to kill even their women. I see far from the battlefield that your war crimes continue.

I see the homes, schools, and the hospitals that you bomb and destroy. I see the way you lie, the way your people celebrate with glee by moving into the cities we have seen you destroy like Mariupol.

I see through your repeated and beaten down excuses for why you launched a genocidal war against a nation that had never started a war.

I see you kidnapping their athletes for the Olympics, I see you russia and your crimes are not lost among the eyes of those nations whom you are to afraid to fight.

I see you, and I am not Ukrainian.

You must understand I will not look away, I will not stay silent as you beat the old and slaughter the young, as you confine them in basements and steal their children. I will not let history bury your crimes as it has before, no Bucha will not be forgotten, the hundreds of towns and villages you have slaughtered in the name of freeing a peaceful nation, will not be wiped away from my mind as you try to erase them from histories sight.

I am not Ukrainian. I will not forget, I will not lie to my family and friends and pretend in a foreign nation your business is good business. I will avoid your stores, I will not be friends with your people who stand in exaltation of your genocidal invasion, who celebrate your war crimes with medals and marks of heroism.

I will not forget and go silently into the past. I will remember the men and boys whom you shoot hands bound in the back across Ukraine as you silence them you cannot silence me, you will never be able to silence all of us, for we have seen what you have done. We have seen you shoot unarmed men for saying their nation is great.

I will not forget russia, I am not Ukranian, I stand with Ukraine.
