@AndiDurrant Shocking to say this, but I’m going with 2001 due to experiencing those tracks, first-hand. Lots of great memories of buying the tunes whilst at uni and playing them a lot! 88 is wall to wall anthems but I only got to appreciate them retrospectively.
When Dire Straits took the stage at Live Aid in '85, most fans had no idea why Sting joined them, but when he started singing the opening lyrics to "Money For Nothing", they realized it was his voice on the radio hit which widely went unnoticed til then 🔥 Goosebumps when Mark Knopfler finally plays that guitar riff and the crowd takes over for the drums.
