Suzie Bates might have gone the entire World Cup - her farewell for New Zealand - without getting a game, but Sophie Devine's illness gave her a chance, and she made a big difference
12-year-old Alice Capsey was in the stands when England won the ODI World Cup at Lord’s in 2017.
Nine years on, she’s heading into her third #T20WorldCup as a player, dreaming of glory on home soil 🏆
Ben Stokes will meet with his advisors on Wednesday to decide on his future, with the ECB giving England's Test captain room to weigh up his options amid fears he could retire from international cricket.
Retirement remains a live issue, but there is optimism that Stokes has cooled on that nuclear option.
Offered the chance to resign on Monday, the 35-year-old may yet take the chance to step down and carry on through to the end of his central contract, in 2027, after the next Ashes.
He could also opt to relinquish the captaincy and take an indefinite break from the game.
For now, Stokes and Atkinson are expected to incur a suspension and fines, perhaps even ruling them out of the rest of the New Zealand series.
Looking forward to covering the #T20WorldCup over the next few weeks, started off by chatting to England's most in-form batter this summer, Alice Capsey. At just 21 years old, she'll be appearing at her third edition of the tournament

NEW: Ben Stokes' future as England Test captain is in doubt after it was announced that he and Gus Atkinson are being investigated by the ECB for an undisclosed "incident" at a nightclub in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is understood neither Stokes nor Atkinson were hurt in the incident, which also involved players from Saracens rugby club as part of their end-of-season celebrations.
ESPNcricinfo understands the incident, described by the ECB as "a breach of team protocols", is serious enough for Stokes to be considering his position as captain.
Excellent day on Monday at @SheppertonCC for our first match of the summer against @cricketsocxi - highlight and lowlight being @miller_cricket's stunner off his own bowling resulting in multiple fractures!
