NCS was a great concept but introducing such an ambitious programme whilst austerity was devastating local youth services meant it never reached it’s potential. NCS did help thousands. I'm sorry for the staff of NCS and for those young people who will never get the experience.

Labour closing NCS is spiteful to young people who benefitted but what makes me sad after spending years in opposition designing the project unthanked with @pauloginsky fending off crazy input from DC spads is that Govt saw it as a replacement for youth services not complimentary
