@JasonNorth3 @MartinSLewis It’s a blunt tool that does eventually work when inflation is driven by demand. Makes credit expensive so dampens spending and supposed to make saving preferable. In this case inflation isn’t driven by demand and interest rates are not being passed to savers so it isn’t working.
