In 1986 Mitsubishi entered a Delica minibus in the Paris Dakar rally, carrying 3 drivers, 2 navigators and a chef the idea was the be able to drive for 36 hours non stop thereby completing 3 stages at a time. It DNF’d on stage 6 after a chip pan fire.
