The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.
Some days, I wish all the rich and colonizers would just pack up, head to Mars, and leave us indigenous and earth-minded people to heal and thrive in peace.

@oodhamboi Why can’t folks use their ancestral medicines from europe that isn’t endangered? Juniper, mugwort, yarrow, wormwood, or mountain ash. All viable options! Plus i never understood how people go through sage, so quickly. I’ve had the same one for 5 years now.
