However, it is one or the other. You can’t have a pardon and plead the 5th.

I found it especially infuriating to hear him repeat that his council advised he should exercise his 5th amendment right.
Doesn’t a pardon prevent you from being able to plead the 5th?
I don’t believe a preemptive pardon is even valid, especially not an autopen version. However, you can’t have it both ways.

I hope that it also triggers a hard look at the Non-Profit industry in general.
There need to be strict requirements for Non profits. They should not be valued at millions or billions of dollars.
That, and/or strip them of their tax free status.

Goldman Sachs is short sighted. Sure there may be a loss in profits from the sale of hearing aids, etc.
However, this will be more than offset by gains in other areas.
Think of all the things that people are not a customer for because they are deaf, but now they could be.
Every time an industry is disrupted. Something else more than takes its place. There just needs to. E a level of re-invention.
