Thank me later!
Not being able to move the bottom ui overlay. You’re blocking a lot of websites people use. I have to resize my chrome so it doesn’t get in the way.
(Hiding for one hour is not intuitive.)
paste previous transcript, should be instant.
escape should not cancel the transcription. Or a mode to double tap escape in order to cancel the transcription. (This is a huge pain in the ass, when a lot of dialogs and modals use escape to close. So when you’re transcribing and clicking through stuff hands off a global escape will stop the transcription)
(More of a power user thing ) A shortcut to add to the dictionary. I’ve got to focus your app, click a few buttons just to get there .
A mode that makes it more visually obvious that we’re recording. Sometimes hard to tell if it’s even recording even with sound. For accessibility to have it very obviously recording would be helpful.
the worst thing about using any transcription tool is having to re-record something, due to model failure, or app failure, and even user failover because the design was wrong.
If you can save the user from having to re-record that’s a quality experience. For me the escape , and visibility are the two things that literally cause me to re-record .
@trashh_dev No you’re not, rules that are actually helpful will emerge naturally. Better to keep the global rules clean, and if you do have to reach for rules, scope them to the target directories first
@konstipaulus At the rate things are going we aren’t gonna need a NLE, or editing at all. It’s gonna all be doable in the prompt only. Making a cursor for editing is not even going to be necessary.
