@flayer85 Medieval by far. It was an actual historical time of true mystery, science was magical, invention was wild, and survival was as well. It is easier to visualize and identify with a known era. Naturally, the other societies fall right into that era.

I’m excited to see the #mtgpauper format shake out over the next few weeks. I don’t know that enough was done, but I also don’t know that it wasn’t. The PFP will never please everyone. But I do believe they listened, acted, and did it in a timely manner. I can appreciated that.

Golgari Initiative is still alive after bans, so if someone wants to explore the archetype I would reccomend going this build now. In a metagame without other initiative decks, it might come out the monarch+initiative combination is even stronger.
