Life with endometriosis is difficult (I’ve got first hand experience of that) but you don’t need to do it alone. I’ve created an empowering community for you to get the support you need and deserve. Join the Pausefully Hub for free https://t.co/dsd9h42ddz #endometriosis#endo
@belinduhpyne I guess the three surgeons who operated on my bladder, bowel and uterus all made up that I had stage 4 endometriosis and adenomyosis 🙄 He can watch the video I have of my insides from surgery if he wants proof that it exists!
@ashleyt_journo@JournoRequest I’m a menstrual health coach and run a business supporting women with endo due to my lived experiences of endometriosis and not getting the medical help needed [email protected]

Today marks the start of World Menopause Month and we are on a mission to start the most menopause conversations ever. I’m starting things off by nominating @LizEarleMe@thebodycoach and @MenoScandal to have a conversation.
If you want to get involved too:
1. Have a conversation about the menopause
2. Log your conversation on the balance app or website: https://t.co/vPFjCY5qNb
3. Share that you’ve got involved by tagging us on social media, using the hashtag #PauseToTalk
Five years ago, I set up the Newson Health Wellbeing and Menopause Centre to give more women the opportunity to receive unbiased, evidence-based advice and treatment for their perimenopause and menopause, and also their future health.
Quickly, it became clear that there were so many women who needed help, and not all of them would want, or be able to, come for an appointment in the clinic. I knew if we were to help the masses, we needed to give women access to more information, improve medical research into the perimenopause and menopause, and also support GPs working across the NHS with better menopause training. So, then we launched Newson Health Research and Education, Newson Health Menopause Society and the free @balanceMeno app too.
There’s still a long way to go, but looking at some of these numbers makes me incredibly proud ❤️
When people say menopause is just a natural part of being a woman and that we just need to “get on with it”, I have a problem with that because why should women suffer with any symptoms when there are evidence-based treatments available that not only relieve these symptoms but also improve future health?
Sometimes the loneliest places we can be is in our heads.
If we all spoke to each other (In person or online) about our loneliness we could see we are not alone, even if we are on our own.

"The Govt has been ending vital local suicide prevention funding across England. This decision completely undermines their promise to deliver the suicide prevention strategy that we desperately need"
