India contributes the highest number of unicorn founders to the US economy - nearly 10% of the founders of American unicorns were born in India!

This data should be a wake up call for Indian policymakers (not of the Government of India, but the regulatory bureaucrats/policymakers).

But alas, all we will get is more gobbledegook about macro prudential approach, stability, averting crisis.

Stamping out all possible shocks from a system - as if it is a zero defect manufacturing assembly line - exacts colossal strategic and economic costs. Nobody is being mindful of tradeoffs.
