Mamata Didi, this is because of your own actions and your own karma. West Bengal has become a shithole, and we all know the condition of the state because of the Left's rule and then the TMC's rule, which, in my opinion, has been nothing but gunda raj.

AstroTalk's aggressive marketing has crossed all limits. As someone born into a Hindu family and raised with Hindu values, I do believe astrology has its place. But claiming that someone's entire life can be revealed just from their date of birth is misleading.

Thousands of people are born on the same date. Are they all going to live the same life? Of course not.

The government should take strict action against misleading advertisements that exploit people's faith in the name of astrology.

These are hardly 500 posts that are given on merit to those who are capable of performing at that level. Now compare this to the millions of students who appear for recruitment exams, admission exams, state exams, and other government exams.

They do not care about the quality of education, and then they will cry about the poor quality of education in government schools.

Admissions already have reservation provisions. Faculty recruitment should not become another arena for political debates over reservation.

There is already 50% reservation in admissions. If you start demanding reservation in faculty recruitment too, don't be surprised after the overall academic output suffers. We invest thousands of crores in IITs and IIMs to produce world-class talent, not to make merit secondary.

Today, anything that talks about merit is instantly branded as "casteist." Instead of obsessing over reservation in every single space, let merit decide who teaches at our premier institutions.
