The more enduring damage lies elsewhere. NEET leaks, the botched CBSE exam digitisation effort, and the growing erosion of trust among lakhs of students and parents.

This is not a constituency that will take to the streets. Most do not have the luxury of protesting or publicly venting their despair. They have to carry on with their studies, admissions, counselling, and life. But the loss of trust they carry with them will be far harder to repair than any headline crisis.

What is most striking is the complete absence of empathy and humility in official communication. No sincere apology for the distress caused to lakhs of students whose academic calendars have been thrown into disarray. No acknowledgment of the financial burden imposed on countless families. No accountability for those overseeing repeated failures. And no admission that these are not isolated mishap, but deeper systemic rot . NEET leaks have been recurring.

Credibility is not lost because mistakes happen. Mistakes are sometimes inevitable in large scale transition. Credibility is lost when mistakes happen repeatedly, nobody is held responsible, and those in charge refuse to even admit there is a problem.

One can argue that sacking officials does not magically solve the problem. Perhaps it does not. But it sends a signal that the system recognises the gravity of its failures and understands that lakhs of young people have paid the price for its incompetence.

@rishabhm @DaveOCKOP If you don’t think that was a bad performance, then you got used to stinkers. It was very close to one. LFC had 0 shots on target in 1st half. The team cant find a good forward pass. was screaming at screen many times about an obvious pass. sitting back at 1-0 is 🙏 no fluidity

@rishabhm You trust people like Pep or Klopp to turn it around because they always feel in control. they know what they are doing. Slot doesn't have that luxury. My biggest problem with Slot is I don't know what style he stands for. How he wants to play. Players seem clueless as well.
