This is not a real home video 🤯
We can generate AI videos that look like they were filmed on a shitty old camcorder or outdated phone.
You're no longer limited to crisp, cinematic outputs - we're about to see an explosion in the types of videos made with AI.

Seems this post kicked quite a storm. Not sure what the fuss is about. If you are in the service industry - be it food, retail, hospitality or even financial services - you have to be prepared for such peaks - and the peaks could (and likely do) occur on Diwali, New Year, Sunday or whenever. Being in a "services" job is a choice one makes. I think people should appreciate @zomato@deepigoyal and indeed all services companies for stretching out to their job well, and serving customers well. Business basics it is, and needs to be commended and emulated. Not criticized.

Agree @Nithin0dha innovation around UPI is one of India's proudest achievements. And we are not done yet. Now customers will be able to use their OD accounts to pay via UPI

India is unique. Copy-pasting models from the US, etc, has hardly worked. Paytm's speaker for Indian vendors that reads out payments is one of the best examples of a product made specifically for the Indian context by an Indian fintech.

@deepakshenoy this is a good move by RBI. Will mean businesses can use OD (and i guess even CC) facilities to pay via UPI. The limitation remains that this works only for proprietorships, not for pvt ltd.

UPI linked to credit lines. Very cool. So you could now use an overdraft to pay for things directly.
NBFCs might be able to co-lend (I hope) to individuals against a UPI based payment rather than using cards.
Very insightful indeed. One of core tenets of GST was to unshackle domestic trade and now we have data to support it. Interstate trade growing at 2X of GDP growth! Would be interesting to know if GST is also helping drive industrialisation in agrarian states like UP, Bihar, Rajasthan etc.
@bibekdebroy
Super paper by @bibekdebroy and Devi Prasad Misra to estimate interstate trade, which is perhaps growing at twice the pace of underlying GDP.
GST is driving internal economic integration that the Constitution promotes in Part XIII, or articles 301-307.

Interesting to see India recording sharp growth in AI papers - even as it lags in private investment. Wondering what India needs to do to amp up on AI investments?

AI Singularity is inevitable....or is it already here? Wondering what today's kids should study/learn/do to be 'competitive' in an AI world? I dont have good answers, and genuinely curious.

Recently saw the video of a Pakistan citizen asking for Modi as PM. and now gets even weirder. just watched a video on BBC, with Cambodian leader Hun Sen? wearing a @BJP4India

Fintechs 🇮🇳 Phat Gaya
Govt has banned so many lending apps…causing panic.
Govt has changed LRS norms…Fintechs facilitating investing in overseas equities unviable.
Neobanks are also shallow propositions now.
This industry is so prone to regulatory nightmares.
Thoughts?
