मध्य प्रदेश का हर तीसरा कलेक्टर ब्राह्मण है। एमपी को केंद्र सरकार द्वारा UPSC से चुने हुए 50% SC, ST, OBC के IAS अफ़सर हर साल मिलते हैं। इनमें से कलेक्टर राज्य सरकार बनाती है। उसने 64% कलेक्टर सवर्णों से बनाए। मध्य प्रदेश का कोई ST कलेक्टर नहीं है। दो हैं वो राजस्थान के।
