Vijayalakshmi, Mother of Gade Sai Krishna who is allegedly victim of custodial torture & murder with former CM of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, yesterday.

Gade Sai Krishna has been missing since 9th of May 2026 after the Krishna Lanka Police, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh took him to “question” in an earlier case.

The mother is begging for her son’s ashes! The details are very heart wrenching. No mother should go through so much pain.

So far, the police are tightlipped on the whereabouts of Sai Krishna, who is apparently a follower of Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga and an ardent fan of Pawan Kalyan.

He is also implicated in a few cases & according to the family only two cases are pending on Sai Krishna. Also, his criminal record cannot be the reason for cold blooded murder by the police.

Sai Krishna was 23 years old when he went “missing” from the police station.

Absolutely right. Our cities have more private vehicles per unit population - higher than in London, New York, Shanghai or Singapore, and much lower share of public transport and pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Reliable, integrated, high quality public transport system is the key to easing traffic congestion and ending energy import dependence.

We all should welcome the announcement of MoU between the US and Iran to end the war and open the Strait of Hormuz. But hostilities may break out anytime, and the Strait could be closed at will. Full freedom of international shipping may never return. In any case it will take months for full restoration of the supply chain. The world collectively can only heave a cautious sigh of relief.

Our task as a country is clear. Only 10% of two wheelers and <5% of cars sold are electric. We are guzzling >180 billion litres of diesel and petrol annually. Consumption is rising by about 5% per annum. Our trade deficit roughly equals our energy imports.

We must pursue the goal of sale of 100% EVs by 2035. Solar power, battery storage, daytime fast charging stations, EVs and appropriate initiatives and regulations must be our highest priority. We should never again be subject to energy shocks on account of disruption of global supply chains for whatever reason. And we need to improve public transport - reliability, quality, safety and speed - enormously. We need about 300GW of solar power, and 60 GW (275 GWh) storage for that at current levels of consumption. Our solar module manufacturing capacity is >150GW and our battery manufacturing capacity is 50GWh per annum; both need to be expanded. We may have to import some components for a while to reach our goals; the one time import bill will be much smaller than energy import bill.

And we need to aggressively promote hybrid energy crops in a part of our irrigated rice fields and create end-to-end industrial chain to extract fungible fuel and valuable chemicals from agriculture. Such a policy will improve farmers' income, reduce the need for procurement of surplus grains at above market prices, promote rural industrialization and job creation, reduce energy imports and address global warming concerns - a win-win-win policy.

We are a tropical country with plenty of sunshine and vast landmass. Sun is the source of all energy for planet Earth. Instead of extracting fossil fuels, we can directly harness Sun's energy through solar power and agriculture. The technology is available, and alternative, renewable energy is already more economical than fossil-fuel based energy. Let us not be lulled into false sense of security and complacency once energy supply chains are restored. Let us seize the momentum and opportunity to permanently transform our transport and energy sectors and agriculture.

During a food safety inspection, @CMC_Offcl teams found rotten lettuce in the chiller, unlabelled cut vegetables beyond their use-by date and flies in the food preparation area at a Subway outlet in #RajarajeshwarNagar, #Kondapur.

The outlet scored just 58/96 (60%) in the hygiene assessment. Rotten and unlabelled vegetables were discarded on the spot and an Improvement Notice will be issued.

Just yesterday I was watching Malayalam movie Thudarum and today I came across the scary case of Gade Jayakrishna in Andhra Pradesh.

Gade Jayakrishna, a kapu youth from Markapuram was allegedly taken by the police for a case investigation and took him forcefully to Krishna Lanka Police Station apparently on 9th June 2026.

Since then Gade Jayakrishna is missing.

Apparently, police told Jayakrishna’s mother Vijayalakshmi to ‘accept’ that her son is dead. According to her, police confiscated her phone when she went to the police station.

The poor mother has also been running around police stations, courts and even mortuaries looking for her son.

She filed a Habeas Corpus petition at the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and the next hearing is scheduled for 29th June 2026.

YSRCP Guntur District President and former minister Ambati Rambabu at a press conference alleged that Gade Jayakrishna was murdered inside the police station and even secretly cremated…!!! Spine-chilling.

As per ground reports, a ruling party leader is now involved in the case and is trying to “settle” the matter by paying a huge sum.
But the mother is still fighting. She is literally begging for her son’s dead body at least.
