So, via Basirhat, we travelled to #Hindu villages near the #Bangladesh border - villages from where infiltration has been a grim, nightly reality.

What they told us was chilling.

Infiltration happened almost every night.

Money was looted.
Doors were knocked at in fear.

When we asked about festivals and daily life, they said celebrating as Hindus here is still not easy.
