Usual method is to evaluate the origin and also see it it aligns with the Deposit of Faith of centuries.

I told you they are THOROUGH.

But a good rule of thumb for quick judgement is to follow the one closer to Christ's Teachings.

And of course, check the Magisterium of the Church.
There's nearly two millennia of it. They would have studied it very profoundly.

And Christianity has a love for Truth ... and detail.
It is always good to be thorough.

Civilian Law: It ended with the Kingdoms of Juda and Israel.
Ceremonial Law: It ended with the New Covenant.
Moral Law: It's ETERNAL.

That distinction is why you can eat pork today😉

Sometimes the process can take centuries.

Eventually the truth starts to come out.

You should not lose any sleep over this, though.
90% of Christianity was already clearly understood since the very beginning.

A majority of Christians have the tools and education to understand the basic message.

Or as CS Lewis called it: Mere Christianity.

Still, most of the Bible can be universally understood by the whole world.

The PARABLES Christ taught contain enormously profound theological meanings that can occupy theologians for centuries.

And yet, even a child can understand most of the basic message.

@___TheGOOdWitch Because such Payment must still be accepted by the purported beneficiaries.

Like inheritances, it can still be rejected.

Give GLORY to God with your life just as Christ did to the BEST of your ability.

That's ALL God asks.
Just do your BEST.

It's a BARGAIN.

And God did not want those persons (ALL of us) to be LOST.

It was done out of LOVE.

And God is not UNJUST.

In Christ's Sacrifice at Calvary JUSTICE and MERCY were done in perfect combination.

SACRIFICE.

A TRUE human (which Christ is) asking for the forgiveness of all humanity's sins.

The Perfect Victim.
An Offering of Himself by Himself.

His Agony was beyond our imagination.
His Pain in death was REAL.

It was FREELY given and WELL meant.

The persons of the Trinity are in communication.

Don't you remember Genesis 1:26 ("let US make man in our image")?

God could have been speaking to the Heavenly Choir, but also to the Trinity.

Belief systems (atheism included) are the metaphorical gear you need to survive or even thrive in your crossing.

Character matters. A LOT.
But the rightful gear can make the difference.

Hence its importance.

But it will taken into account and Salvation is still very possible.
