A mobile visiting therapy dog service. We engage with older people and encourage activities for wellbeing for people who are lonely or socially isolated.
@BristolCouncil Please can you share these new rules about keeping dogs on leads in council parks prominently on your Twitter and Facebook pages please? Many dog owners are unaware of or ignoring the new rules.
@wickwarwolf @BristolCouncil@GuySpedding We agree dogs should be kept on leads at this time and our dogs are. We are questioning BCC as the document they’ve shared listing parks appears to be an old list? We hope BCC will enforce this new rule as it seems many dog owners are ignoring the new advice.
@BristolCouncil@GuySpedding@BristolCouncil that exemption list doesn’t tally with parks that have new council banners saying dogs must be on lead? Please can you confirm that document is the correct one?
Due to the ongoing hot weather we’ve suspended all our visits for the moment until temperatures drop.
Paws for Wellbeing volunteer dog Oscar is keeping comfortable in his special cooling coat. ❤️
When Nell first met Mr W he didn’t say much, and mostly felt her head &neck.
On subsequent visits he told her she was a good girl. Today Nell gently licked his face and he thanked her for the kiss and said she’s a good girl, then paused and said, “She’s exceptional!” ❤️
