SOUND ON. You’re hearing the first howl of a dire wolf in over 10,000 years. Meet Romulus and Remus—the world’s first de-extinct animals, born on October 1, 2024.
The dire wolf has been extinct for over 10,000 years. These two wolves were brought back from extinction using genetic edits derived from a complete dire wolf genome, meticulously reconstructed by Colossal from ancient DNA found in fossils dating back 11,500 and 72,000 years. This moment marks not only a milestone for us as a company but also a leap forward for science, conservation, and humanity. From the beginning, our goal has been clear: “To revolutionize history and be the first company to use CRISPR technology successfully in the de-extinction of previously lost species.” By achieving this, we continue to push forward our broader mission on—accepting humanity’s duty to restore Earth to a healthier state.
But this isn’t just our moment—it’s one for science, our planet, and humankind. All of which we love and are passionate about. Now, close your eyes and listen to that howl once more. Think about what this means for all of us.
@toobaffled Through rotational grazing cattle boost soil health, and sequester carbon so much that they can completely offset our emissions and make us net zero.
Yet, WEF tyrants ignore them.
That’s how you know for sure WEF is not about the planet, they are about profits and power.
Statement….
Dogs on the street have legal representation in place for the case involving the dogs millions and Marshall.
I have just spent the last few hours at the scene with Louis and others involved in the matter.
A fundraiser will be put up over the weekend to help cover any financial costs for any legal fees and additional mental health and welfare support that may be needed.
Thank you for your support.
We are not affiliated with any other fundraiser - Just the one that we will provide details of over the next couple of days.
Truly shocking footage emerging from East London this evening showing the police tasering a man & killing his two dogs with a shot gun in a residential housing area in close proximity to members of public. The dogs were on leads & from the footage do not appear to pose a threat to police or wider public, this incident needs urgent investigation @metpoliceuk@MayorofLondon@RSPCA_official@SkyNews@LBC@BBCNews@TalkTV
This handsome boy Mr M recently came into our foster care so that his owner can access residential rehabilitation.
Until now it has been impossible for the owner to get the support needed due to not having anyone they could trust to care for their dog.
Owner is now able to look to a brighter future for them both & look forward to them being reunited in a few months 🧡
