Every HS kid I ask ���wants to play” in college.
But so many don’t want: 20 hours of practice/weights 20 hours of class/study hall 0 hours of “social life” Some weeks: 6-7 days a week.
6am starts.
10pm ends.
Sooo...Do you REALLY want it?
High School Playoffs.
Winning a high school state championship is special.
The players go to school with each other, in most cases for years, parents know each other, and it means something to the community.
High school athletics bring people together and form a bond forever.
High school athletics can't be replaced.
The key to earning scholarships for you young men is NOT:
1.7v7
2.Camps
3.Trainers
4.Visits
It’s GOOD OLD TAPE.
When a coach turns on your film, you need to be one of the best 3 out of 11 players on the field.
The key to getting in that room is:
•Knowing your playbook like the code to your phone
•Living in the weight room
•Making plays when your number is called
Be a fundamental junkie.
Play so well that when people in the stands watch, they say:
“Who is #___?”
When schools invest in football, they’re investing in culture. The accountability, leadership, and community buy‑in don’t just lift the team—they elevate academics, arts, and every other program. In a time when real community is fading, that shared identity matters more than ever
