No, the cancer patient allegory misses vital aspects of the issue: a Muslim is nothing like your kind and innocent cancer patient.
1- Cancer patients don't actively try to transmit their cancer to you, either forcefully when they have the government or indirectly through population take over or other propaganda.
2- A cancer patient doesn't think that they are superior because they have cancer. Does not think that you deserve to be conquered by them because you don't have cancer.
The list goes on...
The thing is Islam is an identity, a set of barbaric teachings of genocide, crimes against humanity, misogyny and cult supremacy. It's a thought architecture that one eventually internalises as their identity. You cannot behead your 15-year-old daughter based on your thought system and the next day claim that you threw all your identity and you no longer believe in Islam. You cannot simply wish death upon anyone who insults prophet Muhammad today, and a few moments later claim that you underwent a surgery and got your cancerous tumor out and now you feel okay if someone insults Muhammad.
It's a huge underestimate to think that Islam is just a mere cancer and a Muslim is a mere patient. It does convey a small, harmless part of the situation but it misses all serious and dangerous aspects of it.
