Over $500K awarded to Nigerian projects on Stellar 🚀🇳🇬
The latest Stellar Community Fund round has once again shown what Nigerian builders are capable of.
Six Nigerian projects received funding in SCF #44, with over $500,000 awarded to support projects building their solutions across the ecosystem.
We’re incredibly proud to see more Nigerian founders and builders continuing to show up, getting the support they need to build boldly, and make their mark on the Stellar ecosystem.
Big congratulations to @callyolat , @choppaddi , @JumpaHQ , @useblinkapp , @useazza , and @paycashless_ ! 🥳
We can’t wait to see how these projects grow with this support.
Curious about what they’re building? Take some time to explore their projects and support their work.
It’s still day one!
In 2024 @paycashless_ , we built QR Payment Intent (QPI), a standard that essentially satisfies the hybrid approach in this article. It is built on EMV specs for QR codes.
Aliases/financial addresses were stored in a proposed digital public infrastructure (DPI).
The QR app-to-app handoffs and payment link handoffs both used the same payloads to keep everything interoperable.
I 100% agree NIBSS is in the best position to execute this. But I also wonder if the DPI can sit under @bosuntijani ‘s office.
So I built this system for a hostel few months ago
They are seeing their actual revenue live, which just Hit N79 million naira
Student come in make a payment
