@ashishdogradir Great work from the @paysmithhq team on the progress so far. I think a short SaaS explainer video could be a great way to showcase what the product does and make the value proposition easier to grasp. Is that something the team has considered for a future update?
Hiring Alert!
Build the bank account AI agents will use.
Agents can already research, negotiate, send emails and operate software. But the moment they need to spend money, issue a card, pay a vendor or reconcile a transaction, they hit infrastructure designed for humans.
@paysmithhq is building banking infrastructure for AI agents.
We give agents controlled access to wallets, cards, identity and financial workflows, so they can safely perform real economic work.
We’re looking for a Founding AI Engineer to help build this from first principles.
What you’ll build :
- Agents that execute multi-step financial workflows
- Permission systems for controlling how agents can spend
- Wallet, card, payment and banking integrations
- Approval flows for sensitive or irreversible actions
- Financial ledgers, reconciliation systems and audit trails
- Tool-calling infrastructure that survives messy real-world inputs
- Evaluations for agent reliability, policy compliance and failure recovery
Product demos that make people say, “I didn’t know this was possible”
You’ll likely be a strong fit if you:
- Have built and shipped production software independently
- Understand LLM agents, tool calling, structured outputs and evaluation
- Are strong in Python or TypeScript
- Can design reliable APIs, databases and asynchronous workflows
- Care deeply about permissions, observability and failure handling
- Use AI coding tools as leverage, not as a substitute for judgment
- Move quickly while knowing where financial systems cannot afford shortcuts
- Want ownership over a company-defining technical problem
Why join now
You’ll join before the architecture, product conventions and engineering culture have hardened.
That means you won’t merely implement someone else’s roadmap. You’ll help decide:
- What financial autonomy should look like
- Where an agent must stop and ask for approval
- How money-moving agents earn human trust
- What the primitives of agent-native banking should be
- Which use cases become Paysmith’s first breakout product
How to apply
Send at ashish(at)paysmith(dot)ai
- The most technically difficult product you have personally shipped
- A link to something you have built i.e. GitHub, demo, product or technical write-up
Update on internal GTM harness!
One week ago, i started working on GTM strategy at @paysmithhq
1200 emails over a week
All fetched, validated, and send autonomously!
It all started with idea that since @paysmithhq is fully autonomous finance, it does not make sense if we do everything else manual. It should've our touch but mundane tasks like scheduling, talking to mass prospects should be super doable by intelligent models.
I started building this on codex , running as main UX for me, builder + collector
1. generated a small server
2. connected MCPs and emails
3. connected research APIs and email validations APIs
4. auto research tools for ICP selection
4. sqlite for internal sense of data
I am building autonomous finance for agency economy , most of work i have done in AI involved building agent systems
We have raised from top finance angels in valley, let’s go!!
Launching soon on @ProductHunt@ProductHunt@paysmithhq
