Husbands are clueless about what makes them attractive to their wives.

Wives want a man with vision, a man who is working towards something meaningful.

Whether it’s making money, deepening his faith, building a family, or pursuing a cause, she wants to see a fire in his belly.

Something that requires him to grow and improve.

She wants both stability and adventure.

It’s fine to take a break or a sabbatical, men need and deserve that.

It’s another thing to “check out” of life because you’ve hit some arbitrary dollar amount.

Too many men lie to themselves, thinking the money they’ve earned makes them respectable.

What happens when the money is gone?

You've tied your respect to something that is outside of you.

The issue is we’ve drifted so far from God that men no longer know themselves, or their God-given roles.

Men and women are equal in value but have different in roles.

One isn’t’ better than the other.

Being a husband is both a leadership and visionary position.

And a wife wants to help her husband fulfill that vision.

If he has no vision, if he has nothing he’s working toward, he will frustrate his wife.

This wife was right to call him a loser.
