The water level at #ToddbrookReservoir has been reduced by just over three metres. Pumps are continuing to remove water at a rate of around 10cm an hour. Once a level has been reached, engineers will view the damage and decide if residents & businesses can re-enter #WhaleyBridge.
Further heavy rain is forecast from around 1pm today (Sunday 4 August) which also has the potential to increase the flow of water entering the Toddbrook Reservoir.
A second residents meeting has been arranged for the residents of #WhaleyBridge tomorrow evening at 5pm at Chapel School, Long Lane, Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak, SK23 0TQ, where they can be updated on the current situation regarding the #ToddbrookReservoir.
URGENT UPDATE: WHALEY BRIDGE
