I don't expect to post on here much more.
I spend a lot of time online. This means a few things:
1) I'm familiar with the phrase "go touch grass".
2) I need to go touch some fucking grass.
3) I'm shocked that the domain https://t.co/6IAdNTjvBc was available!
New blog: https://t.co/qV0d1J0cBe
This will be my new #Blog for #Photography, #Rambling, #Hiking and personal updates, allowing me to refocus my other site exclusively on the software, open source and tech policy stuff.
If you share my concerns, do not endorse the Open Source AI Definition in its current form. Instead, leave comments on the text (https://t.co/cG4fFlFmkc) and if you're able to, attend the upcoming town hall sessions (https://t.co/kfdlu9UBCK) to share your feedback.

If the Open Source Initiative insists on publishing an Open Source AI definition, the definition must require Open Source AI Systems to include the release of complete corresponding training data under an open license.

I will be at @oggcamp in Manchester on 12th-13th Oct.
Message me if you'll be there and want to chat Yocto, U-Boot, Linux kernel or anything vaguely related. Especially early-mid career or hobbyists looking to do more open source work in these areas.

I live in a safe Labour seat so I'm free to vote Green without the risk of the Tories or Reform getting a seat. But for anyone in a seat with a real risk of a Tory/Reform win, I strongly advocate for tactical voting, even if you feel you need to take a shower afterwards!
I'd still rather be fighting a Labour government than a Tory government. I still think the outcomes for vulnerable people will be better under a Labour government than a Tory government.
