I’m here in downtown Lancaster where a crowd of people came out to support the trans community for Trans Day of Visibility

Organizers have told me it’s important to see and learn about trans people, especially after a bomb threat canceled a drag queen story hour last week

@tnbaldwinauthor @AitchisonJoshua For sure. Especially people with depression, they feel like they aren’t good enough for human company. And isolation becomes self-perpetuating, I think. It gets harder to be around people the more you avoid it.

I miss when the internet was fun. And no I don’t mean “wah wah everyone is too preachy and mean” I mean there’s nothing to do online anymore except shop and watch videos.

Flash is dead, interactive gathering sites are dead, there’s no more interesting websites to visit.

I heard from a professor today that Harvard published a study saying trigger warnings shouldn’t be used because they’re “ineffective and cause anxiety.” I would really love everyone’s thoughts on this.
