@bonchieredstate Huh, sounds like the Liberal Party in Canada. Be warned, we're a glaring example of failed governance, malicious "empathy" and insider self-dealing
@KurtSchlichter There's no other way to read this slop. Don't think this many people can be this retarded, but the evidence suggests otherwise. Someone should write a series of thriller novels about the great divide between people living in fantasy-land, and those living in the actual world π
@bonchieredstate How, how, how? In the 21st Century, with access to alternative and independent news sources, are people still this captured by ideological malice? Then again, they view those of us not blinded by hate, ignorance and envy as the ones "in a cult." Simultaneously depressing & scary.
@WayneMathison When will people in this country awaken from a long, long sleep and realize what's been done to us. I see no signs of awakening yet, and that shocks me to the core. How can people consume the slop being fed to them by mainstream Canadian media, and never think to question it?
@redsteeze Do these people even hear themselves? Who is the audience for this kind of tweet? I get that there's a great divide among the peoples of The West, but this is objectively unhinged. How do we make common cause with people who, despite all the revalations of corruption, think this?
@Heminator I love how so many people seem incapable of understanding how the wealth of people like Elon is comprised of shares in their companies, not disposable cash in Scrooge McDuck vaults. Sell those stocks, alter the value of the company, pay billions in tax. Yeah, that's the answer
@uncle_june They are obviously shallow, sorry excuses for "people." NPCs maybe, but not people. The Sopranos is the ultimate art of the TV medium, and frankly that opinion is not up for debate (imhoπ)
@lyndseyfifield Classic "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" situation. If you shared your story to a Right-leaning outlet, the NYT would write sniffy pieces deriding the "alt-right" article, thus diminishing your story. Give it to the NYT, and they'll smother the truth under Burge's pillow.
@monsterhunter45 Awesome post ππ Hilarious. We semi-sane Canadians might be dealing with most of the same self-induced decay as the Europeans, but at least we do so in gloriously air conditioned abodes
@infantrydort I've not served in the military, but have always had immense respect for those who have. I did, however, spend my formative years reading and rereading every word Robert A. Heinlein ever wrote, and absorbed his ethos into my DNA. This rings true, even painfully true. Well said
@JustinUSA So... uninformed, ideologically-driven, easily malleable voters are the preference. Sounds like Mr. Massie should move to Canada. He'd fit right in with the Liberal Party
@ConceptualJames Bravo. Well said. Bracing... but also inspiring. It doesn't get any clearer than this. Wipe away all the muck being spread about these days, and this is the essence of decision people will have to make. There won't be a smarmy, straddle-the-fence option available. This is it
@RealJamesWoods This, sir... is the clearest declaration of my worldview I've ever read. I wish I could articulate myself this clearly, but you've basically plucked the thoughts out of my head, and said them better than I ever could. Much respect
@MorEdge_Insight I've always wondered how the world could have sleepwalked into WWII and the Holocaust. Have read dozens of books about the period between WWI and WWII, trying to make sense of it. I've watched in horrification the terrible things happening since Oct. 7... and fear you're right.
