@brianoneill@amix3k@todoist No second brain app, Todoist is more committed to the actionable part sparked by a note or thought. If you use Jeff Eisley's deep data approach in Notion you can twin and complement categories in Notion and Todoist, so that the apps think and do in mutually supportive ways.
@rebannford@FrancescoD_Ales I've appreciated your reviews of Notion, TickTick, about 4 years ago. Am interested in Upbase, connecting to my reference library app Evernote, and Roam as a thinking tool. Am finding Notion too complex. What's your current app use? Thanks for all your clear writing.
@fczn_@evernote Just a thought. E.g.: I have a "task tag" -- 🅰️Decluttr -- that I've added to task descriptions of 2 tasks. Easy to find in the Tasks drawer, but also by general search, within their notes. Are there not filtering possibilities here in the relevant notespace? Beyond my paygrade!
@TfTHacker@wirtzdan@RoamResearch Rosie Campbell's vid Feb 8,'20 unintentionally shows how to put Project tasks on their own page some of which you can tag as Today, Upcoming, and Later. Voila, in DW's magic list on the right of Daily Pages, you'll be able to gaze at Project as well as generic tasks!
@staceyabrams John Berger's words on the vicious circle of high/low art applies in this moment: "It will only be broken by a society which is consciously united by a positive, realistic, satisfying sense of purpose." Speak of this today and later in the senate!
