@sardesairajdeep Your declaration that you are a citizen of india is accepted. You are a citizen till proved otherwise. At least now, as it was not done on 26 Jan 1950, National Register of Citizens needs to be prepared. Every person living in india was declared a citizen as per constitution?

With a large number of cases pending at Supreme court, should not the cases be heard by a single judge , thus nearly doubling the number of cases which can be handled. Only cases, where question of law arises, the case may be referred to 2 or 3 judges benches. #speedyjustice

Delhi Gymkhana lease and all other leases of clubs / Gymkhana awarded by British should be determined, just like privy purse of Kings & Navab taken away by Smt Indira Gandhi. British awarded leases to their favorites, and now these spaces to be used for the public at large.

@barandbench Why CJI should visit such places, where such disrespectful behaviour is shown. Once then CJI has said they use vacation time to write judgement and clear the pending cases. All judges should work 24x7 to clear pending cases and serve the common people by clearing the max cases.

@barandbench It is disrespectful behaviour, our CJI should now know how a person holding a constitutional position feels because of such behaviour and when cases of such disrespectful behaviour comes to them , exemplary punishment should be awarded to set an example for others.

While the constitution mentions the eligibility criteria, there are many meeting those minimum requirements, how are few selected from large numbers, must be a really difficult choice to be made by the collegium, an appointment today may become part of collegium in a few years.

Collegium has High court judge orders to examine suitability of his/her to be considered for appointment as SC judge , no such details exist for an advocate to be appointed as SC judge.

Judging is a skill and can be acquired by practicing as a judge at High court level. Absence of High court experience may create a difficult situation for advocates directly appointed as supreme court judges.

Is it okay to appoint an advocate to be a judge of the supreme court ? An advocate appointed as High court judge, his or her orders can be challenged and the supreme court can correct in case of error, however such an option for the supreme court judge order is limited.

If CJI has felt so , with all the power at his disposal, think of the government which faces such road blocks every day from such activists on any development project. Such a waste of the court's time on a meaningless petition while the common man waits for justice.

Good observation by Hon'ble court, wish the court also rationalize advocate fee and rationalize early hearing given to costly lawyers while others cases wait. I hope some action is taken to give priority to not so rich people.

@AmitShah many migrant workers in cities do not have address proof, though they reside in at house/kholi & pay rent but no agreement on paper. They are unable to open a bank account. They have Aadhar with a village address. Create "Address Registration Authority"
