The man who nearly went bankrupt twice in 2008 with Tesla and SpaceX simultaneously is the living proof of this philosophy.
SpaceX blew up rockets on live TV. Tesla nearly died every quarter for a decade. Neuralink is implanting chips in human brains. Every single one of those would have been killed by a corporate board at the first failure.
The reason big companies stop innovating is not because they run out of ideas. It is because they run out of tolerance for the ideas that don't work the first time. And everything bold fails the first time.
