With all due respect I don’t think anybody is gonna pull a Tage Thompson anytime soon. I heard a story (I think it’s public) about a coach telling him hey dude you’re actually really good at this game, you should just start scoring goals right now what are u waiting for and then Tage said yeah that’s true I’m actually pretty nasty and then found his game and went sicko mode. Doesn’t happen often. We shall see.

A lot of folks refer to Price’s calm demeanor and making saves “look easy” - but he was a hell of an athlete and had some spectacular physical saves. Peak Price was something else; truly one of the best goalies I’ve ever seen.

Per Chris Johnston Domi is awake and has signed but other reports are swirling that he is asleep. If the contract is signed, did somebody else sign it on his behalf? Is there power of attorney involved here? Working on the details but we could have a situation where Domi did wake up and sign the contract but then he went back to sleep after that. It’s a slim chance, but did Domi sign this contract via iPhone while asleep? We don’t know that yet. Chris Johnston did not specify that Max Domi is awake but did say he has provided an executed contract to the maple leafs. So I’m waiting to hear if he did go back to sleep or if he was never asleep at all, which would make the previous news of Domi being asleep false. Stay tuned.
