@ItsOlivia_4 None. However, his impact on the global vehicle industry, space industry, internet service industry, and government efficiency have made my life much better!
REALLY disappointed that @AmazonMGMStudio & @PrimeVideo cancelled Martin Gero’s Stargate revival for appealing to existing fans too much. #SaveStargate You’d think a company that produced @thegrandtour & @CriticalRole’s The Legend of Vox Machina would truly value motivated fans.
We need to show @AmazonMGMStudio, @PrimeVideo, etc. that they miscalculated. The Stargate fandom is a massive asset, not a liability. I’m not sure if a petition does that, but it can’t hurt.

Todd was great, but to the end I wouldn’t trust him! Michael on the other hand could always be trusted to be a villain. Viscous and cruel, he combined the arrogance and megalomania of a Goa’uld (or let’s face it, a human) with the ruthlessness of the Wraith. He was the #1 enemy in Pegasus.
Atlantis was much darker. The Wraith were space vampires, and literally ate the humans of the Pegasus galaxy. The Goa’uld were space tyrants. They enslaved humans in principle, but no more than a King or warlord would on Earth.
The USAF wanted to destroy the Goa’uld’s government structure and liberate their subjects. In Atlantis, the USAF wanted to genocide the Wraith through biological warfare.
Universe made things even darker by making every character morally gray. Factions of humans, unsympathetic aliens, and even AI robots battled for control of Destiny. They didn’t want to free anyone, or protect anyone. They wanted control of the ship.
SG1 is a liberation story.
Atlantis is a monster hunter story.
Universe is a political intrigue and faction war story.
Hi @AmazonMGMStudio,
Many of us now work in filmmaking because of shows like Stargate SG-1.
It inspired us with its rich lore, believable character interactions, human drama, and its grounded military science fiction setting.
It showed the progress of humanity from its first baby steps through an unknown portal into a space-faring species.
The show was hopeful, human, and naturally diverse.
It showed the world and mankind coming together despite our differences to create something better.
Indeed, that is what the core of Stargate is and always has been.
We are from around the world.
We are men, women, fathers, mothers, grandparents, grandchilren, and proud of the values Stargate has always stood for. It's rare for a franchise that appeals to people across a political divide, but Stargate always has. It has always stood for the message that we are stronger together. These are the fans.
Martin Gero, Joe Mallozzi, Brad Wright, and everyone else involved have had decades to understand this. There is no better team to trust than the ones who've been there with us the longest. It's a symbiotic relationship.
I, and every Stargate fan, urge you to reconsider during this Window of Opportunity. The writing team was in the middle of their backswing during the cancellation announcement. At least let them finish a season.
We are worth taking a chance on!
I'm Emerald May, and I work in visual effects in Atlanta and I'm proud of shows like Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe that helped steer my career into a place where we make worlds come true.
Thank you.
I am still so excited about Stargate,
20-years later that I introduced a friend to it. She got so into it that the perfect birthday present was this Cameo from Jonas Quinn himself, but Amazon MGM execs think they can’t succeed without a “modern audience.”
The @BookCameo service is such a fun concept, and getting @imcorinnemec to wish my friend Sarah a Happy Birthday was great! She's over the moon. Thanks Corin.
@PoMoTrickster Here’s your “modern audience” @AmazonMGMStudio! This child is so excited about new Stargate that he’s making it himself, because you won’t let Martin Gero, Joseph Mallozzi, and Mohen Leo make it for us!
@JSlaughterEsq Growing up doesn’t mean giving up youthful whimsy. In fact, having children and experiencing childhood all over again through their eyes keeps you young, healthy, and engaged in real life!
