Thank you. I think it does make me first Indian woman to be the President of any psychiatry specialist college world over (outside of India) and any specialist medical college in Australia. Breaking those glass barriers were a big motivating factor. 💕

Today is #InternationalOverdoseAwarenessDay the world’s largest annual campaign to #EndOverdose.
We remember, without stigma, those who have died and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind.

Great #ACNP2020 Study Group on Neuroscience based Nomenclature (https://t.co/MQxyzNwd4x). TAKE HOME: Common drug terms (eg. antipsychotics) increase stigma & inhibit therapeutic alliance. Need to move toward describing drugs by their mechanism of action (eg. dopamine antagonist).
