Zimbabwe-Mozambique Agriculture Value Chain and Trade Development Project
Yesterday, as a Consultant for the Zim-Moza Agriculture Value Chain and Trade Development Project, I had the privilege to present a baseline survey report for the macadamia, sesame and tomato value chains at a validation workshop in Mutare organized by Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations and Ministry of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Water Resources Development @MoLAFWRD_Zim
The workshop brought together government, private sector, farmers, @FAOZimbabwe and other value chain actors in the ecosystem of tomatoes, macadamia and sesame under one roof. These actors provided robust evidence based discussions aimed at strengthening cross- border agricultural trade between the two countries and most importantly building synergies aimed at entering regional and global value chains.
