A lot of people who think life ends at 30 or whatever arbitrary age just had really boring parents. Being an interesting adult was never modeled to them. Never saw their parents pick up an instrument or join a sports league or get really into history or do anything other than sundown in front of the TV with a bud light every night. I've known my mom since she was 30 and I used to be terrified of getting older because I thought I had no choice but to become her. But the truth is that when I turn 30 I'll still be me, my life will be still mine to make whatever I want out of, and naturally my life will be pretty interesting because it's mine.
