WHY DOES HPISD HAVE EMPTY CLASSROOMS?
School enrollment reached its peak the year of the $361 million school bond issue in 2015. Projections by consultants were a whopping 100% wrong creating overcapacity, empty classrooms, and taxpayers on the hook for the bill.
