long in the making. Tax deductible donations are accepted by Somerset County Ed Services, as a result of the efforts of the amazing staff and students who worked on the project. Donation specifics are included. Our goal of $28,000 includes transport, shipping and duty charges.
I invite you to assist me in shipping a school bus, transformed into a mobile library, to Ghana. The library will travel through Ghana’s northern region bringing valuable books to its children and adults. Please see photos below to enjoy a shortened version of a story, a dream…
We are so proud of our little peanut! A special thanks to the @SCLSNJ Hillsborough Branch for continuing to offer opportunities for our littles to read to such wonderful pups. ❤️
Samantha Rafalowski reads to Bella, a therapy dog, at our @HillsboroughTwp branch. Rafalowski read "There Is a Bird On Your Head!" by @MoWillems. Bella gave the book two paws, a "woofing" good read. Check out the book: https://t.co/Li5Grh3pRY. More: https://t.co/WPB33MhR2a.
We are looking for Ts interested in working with a diverse group of high school students! Openings for math, science, ELA, and social studies. If interested, email [email protected]
@CatherineLugg I’m trying to wrap my head around the fact that the age to purchase a handgun is 21, yet one can buy an AR-15 at 18 because it’s looped into the long-gun category. When we look at the weapon used in many of these mass shootings, and find it’s an AR-15, it’s just unconscionable :(
Gr8 points to remember as we welcome back students and staff, especially during the first several weeks. Interrupted learning is definitely a challenge to be addressed, but so is ensuring a sense of belonging and connectedness after 18 months in isolation. https://t.co/q8B1cN1cP1
Tracking and ability grouping students remain common practices that contribute to segregated classes and opportunity gaps. Here's how one school worked to de-track students and create a more equitable model.

For four years, you marched and organized for equality and justice, for our lives, and for our planet. And then, you voted.
You voted for hope, unity, decency, science, and truth when you chose @JoeBiden as the next President of the United States of America.
