Providence Christian’s Pearce Boone (12) drives into the lane to sink a layup in the Class 2A semifinals Friday at the BJCC Legacy Arena.
He earned MVP scoring 37 points. Boone made four of his seven 3-pointers in the first half, including a four-point play with three seconds to go before halftime, and finished with 37 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocked shots to lead the Eagles (29-2). His brother Cas added 13 points – including three 3-pointers – and also earned a spot on the Class 2A All-State Tourney team.
