You don’t need to take on anyone’s pain. You don’t need to immediately fix it or go into solutions. It’s a loving act to trust an adult’s ability to cope. It’s a loving act to not go into an anxiety spiral when you see someone's suffering. People don’t want to be rescued, they want to be witnessed.
Jetzt geht's los! The 2023-24 #CBYXPPP Vocational cohort began their program last week in Washington DC, before heading to Germany. Here's to a great year ahead! #ExchangeOurWorld#NODdiscover

What a trauma survivor wants to know:
1). They are believed.
2). What happened was unjust.
3). They will be supported in ways they ask for.
What they do not want:
1). Unsolicited advice on how to think or feel about their experience or who hurt them.
So honored and excited to be one of the panelists for the topic of Women in Construction - and most importantly, to celebrate 💯 years of Women in Engineering at Bucknell #WomensHistoryMonth#Bucknell
We’re excited to have a number of alumnae joining us for panels recognizing 100 Years of Women in Engineering at Bucknell and #WomensHistoryMonth. Each session will feature our panelists engaging virtually with engineering students gathered on campus.

To put this in layman's terms:
A person in Dallas has been infected with COVID for about 2 years.
The virus has mutated a lot in those 2 years.
The patient is shedding so much virus that it was the dominant SARS-CoV-2 sequence from wastewater in a sewershed with 900k people.
'ray for #EWeek2023 at #Bucknell — an annual tradition of camaraderie, inclusiveness and friendly competitions that brings our college community together to celebrate #engineering. 👏🧡💙
#EWeek2023 continued w/the Professor Mystery Box Challenge. Congrats to Prof. Raymond (CHEG) for winning! Prof. Thompson (ECE) took 2nd. Prof. Wheatley (MECH) was 3rd. The challenge had items to identify by touch & a taste test to ID gelatin flavors made w/unexpected flavors.
We like to think we celebrate National Engineers Week (or E-Week) like no other. Thank you to our Engineering Student Board for their work in planning this outstanding slate of events! #EWeek2023
When I asked my patient, “What meds do you take?” she showed me this. She had a ‘current meds’ bundle and a ‘no longer taking’ bundle. She wrote notes like “blood sugar” or “blood pressure" on each card. I asked to share her brilliant idea and she said, ‘absolutely!' #MedTwitter
