@JoeCassandra@anishmoonka Yes. 2 years on Preply at this point, 8hrs per month, under $100 per month w/ live 1:1 calls. You're fully conversational in a year from just slipping in 2 calls per week.
Remarkable experience. Worth every cent.
@jeffreytumlin@sfbike@transpocrat@kimmie_leung@sfmta_muni Portola + O'Shaugnessy should have a Caution. West bound in particular is bad. Alemany / Bayshore is better but still Diffficult/Caution
The Laguna Honda route should be more emphasized. Very few cross streets minimizes car interactions.
Ocean over parallel Sloat... by a mile
@abjornsen Two i don't see mentioned:
Calabria Bros in the Excelsior has easily the best Italians in the city.
Grubbin' on Taraval - their namesake sando is my goto.
Neither of these places are talked about enough.
Ingleside resident here. I bike to the park plenty, AND I've driven and parked all over GGP this year.
I much prefer my kids biking on a closed JFK over dealing with new drivers practicing at CCSF or piles of glass at Balboa Reservoir.
Open up JFK drive. Residents of the Excelsior, OMI, Outer Mission, Bayview and all neighbors of the Southern portion of the City need to have access to the park as well. Closing JFK takes away access to GGP attractions for many SF families and many communities of color.
@johnlisovsky I've definitely submitted to @sfbike about these spots but love that it's coming up here.
If bike infra attention ever shifts to Excelsior / OMI / etc. , I have additional thoughts. The worst parts of the Mission / SOMA are living the biking dream comparatively.
@johnlisovsky 4. And just generally some of the worst car speed to bike lane size ratios in the city. Northbound from West Portal area may be one of the smallest bike lanes in the city, unprotected, with cars doing 50mph+ up that hill.
I was truly inspired and impressed by the dedication to Career and Technical Ed displayed at #WDI2020. I share my outsiders review here https://t.co/Uj39Ru677j of why Community Colleges are the way forward in restoring dignity to and helping to up-skill our trades @Comm_College
Fantastic, standing room only reception for #apprenticeships at #WDI2020. Glad we decided to attend our first non apprenticeship-specfic conference! Exciting implications for the future of apprenticeships and community colleges.

That line sat with me years before the #IceBucketChallenge took off. What a @stjohnsprep eagle!
Rest easy, Pete.

1/7 As part of #NAW2019, we’re excited to announce our participation in building https://t.co/BYkKCIyDiW, an upcoming tool to “open source apprenticeship standards”. #ApprenticeshipWorks
When someone gets it on every level and with style— Gawd almighty @lauragoode is a writer and I’m lucky she reviewed Heartland for @americamag. https://t.co/TnF7r6co66
@EvaColen@Knownhuman@EvaColen nailed it but, if you're going to taco, El Tonayense taco truck at the Best Buy on Harrison easily is the best in the city. Swing by El Metate on Bryant after for one of the best burritos, too.
