Normal operations are currently scheduled to resume Friday for Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties PD offices. Any update to this info. will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

Court Admin in the 1st Circuit has announced that the courthouse in Walton county will remain closed on Friday, 10/12, therefore, the Public Defender Office will be closed the same.

State Courts in Okaloosa and Walton Counties will be closed Thursday, October 11. Public Defender Offices in those counties will close also.

Court Admin. in the 1st Circuit has now announced that the Courthouses in Escambia County will close at noon today 10/9 and remain closed on Wednesday 10/10. The Public Defender's Office in Escambia County will also be closing during these times as well.

Hurricane Michael - Court Admin. in the 1st Circuit has announced that the Courthouses in Walton, Okaloosa, and Santa Rosa counties will close at noon Tuesday 10/9 and remain closed on Wednesday, therefore the Public Defender's Offices in those counties will be closed the same.
