@CTVNews Of course it HAS to be leadership and NOT what our largest trading partner has done to us as a country.
Don't fret, I am not happy about a lot of what is happening.
The comments section of all social media platforms gives a sad picture of what has become of society in general.
@MarcNixon24 Nobody said stability would be cheap or easy. Sigh. People really are different upstairs than they used to be. Instant gratification and allergies to putting in effort.
@DavidMSolar1@krassenstein Then it had no jurisdiction over any of the other countries either.
When a US citizen travels to another country, they often don't think that countries law applies. Why is it any different when someone from elsewhere travels to the USA. Oh pardon me, I am trying to use logic.
@KirkLubimov Note that the government's in Canada seem to be intentionally restricting health care to make the case for privatization because it puts more money into the politicians pockets
@Jules7547@ABC I wonder where they are finding all these "feel good" judges willfully ignorant of the consequences of their decisions.
Perhaps we need a scorecard. If a judge lets someone go and they offend again, points get removed for making a bad decision. I'm not sure how they get points
@OccupyDemocrats That minimization is a symptom of the sickness we are allowing to take over our society.
In relationships, it goes along with gaslighting and other behaviours which are considered abusive, yet in other contexts are not. It either is or is not abusive. There is very little grey.
@LeafsFan198766 @CTVNews The rush to AI reminds me of so many other failed tech rushes, but this one has far worse possible consequences. There is far more wrong than right, but we want the easy button, instant gratification and are blinded by "oooh shiny" far too much.
