Faith and development should go hand in hand.
People should avoid polluting rivers in the name of religion. But let's not pretend that's the only problem. Industries dumping untreated waste and governments failing to enforce environmental laws are just as responsible.
If we truly care about our rivers, everyone has to be held accountable.
India is sending a sparkling diamond lotus to space!
A lab-grown "Cosmic Bloom" lotus, crafted in Bengaluru by Cosmos Diamonds, will fly aboard Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-1, India’s first private orbital rocket on Mission Aagaman.
The lotus (national flower) symbolises purity & Indian craftsmanship, while the diamonds will test advanced materials under extreme space conditions for future tech.
Proud moment for #MakeInIndia & private space! #Skyroot #Vikram1
How India applies Kautilya's ancient #Mandala framework today:
In Arthashastra, immediate neighbours are natural rivals, but the 'neighbour's neighbour' becomes an ally.
India builds concentric circles with maritime democracies like Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Australia & NZ via defence pacts (BrahMos), tech ties, maritime security & supply chains. Expanding strategic space in Indo-Pacific while shaping a balanced, rules-based order. Smart realpolitik! #IndoPacific #Kautilya
By reinforcing a concentric circle of partnerships with like-minded maritime democracies, New Delhi is constructing a normative and security architecture to increase its strategic space, writes @sreemoytalukdar
Accha development hai! Albanese aur Modi ji ki Melbourne summit mein uranium deal, A$500 million investment aur defence ties final hue. Indian diaspora ko 'living bridge' bolkar sahi kaha – yeh log dono countries ko connect karte hain. Trade badhega, energy security milegi. Indo-Pacific ke liye strong bilateral partnership zaroori hai. Good for India!
@AdityaRajKaul PM Netanyahu ji ka yeh statement bahut inspiring hai. India ke saath naye alliances aur relationships build karne ki baat bilkul sahi hai. Defence, technology aur security mein humari partnership din ba din mazboot ho rahi hai. Is strategic bond ko aur gehra banate rahiye.
Every Indian should know about Prambanan.
For decades, we were taught that India's history was limited to the subcontinent. The truth is far bigger.
Over 1,100 years ago, when much of the world was still emerging, Indian civilization had already crossed the seas, not through invasion or colonization, but through culture, trade, knowledge, and spirituality.
The result? The magnificent Prambanan Temple in Indonesia.
Built in the 9th century, Prambanan is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia, dedicated to Bhagwan Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. Its walls are adorned with scenes from the Ramayana, and even today, the Ramayana Ballet is performed there before thousands of spectators.
Think about that.
Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim-majority nation, yet one of its greatest national treasures is a Hindu temple inspired by Indian civilization. That is the power of Sanatan Dharma: not conquest, but acceptance; not imperialism, but inspiration.
There was no Indian army that occupied Java. No Indian empire that colonized Indonesia. Indian merchants, sages, scholars, and seafarers carried Sanskrit, philosophy, architecture, mathematics, and the epics across the Indian Ocean. Indonesian kingdoms embraced these ideas because they saw value in them, adapting them into their own rich culture.
This is India's real soft power.
Long before modern diplomacy, India's civilizational influence stretched from Afghanistan to Bali, from Cambodia's Angkor Wat to Indonesia's Prambanan. These monuments are living evidence that Bharat was once a global civilizational force whose ideas transcended borders.
It's time Indians stop viewing themselves through the lens of colonial history alone. Our ancestors didn't merely build temples, they built connections between civilizations that continue to survive after a thousand years.
Prambanan is not just Indonesia's heritage.
It is a reminder that the legacy of Bharat and Sanatan Dharma reached far beyond our present-day borders and that civilizational influence can outlast empires.
