Ikr? How many studies must they have done to make a move like this? The Dallas (and FTW) populations are moving north and this positions them very well for the future.

Valley View fits the Mavs well as their fan base is more urban but they have the space to create their venue (arena + entertainment district) like the Stars. That west Plano/Carrollton DNT corridor somehow gets even better now.

You made the point that they would dilute each other because they’re too similar of concepts. They will absolutely not. There are examples of “entertainment districts” much closer together than these 2 that are successful in the Dallas burbs. Grandscape, Legacy West, Legacy, The Star are all packed together tighter and thrive.
