Highlight of my career today; I tagged a Flapper (formerly common) Skate today! One of the biggest flat-shark species' in the world, they can be found around our coasts but are critically endangered. The @seadeepni project aims to tag and track these magnificent animals. 1/2

Saying it again until its understood - type 1 diabetes is not a typical chronic illness. It is a terminal illness that has a life support system administered by the patient.

It's only "chronic" because we manage to keep avoiding death.

It's not "treatable" its "manageable".
